A unique and atypical place for your events and shows
Established in the former Notre Dame du Perpétuel Secours church dating back to 1920, Théâtre Paradoxe opened its doors in February 2014 after three years of extensive renovations. It stands as a versatile venue equipped with a plethora of permanent technical installations, ensuring optimal conditions for hosting various events such as concerts, film screenings, galas, conferences, residencies, receptions, and more.
With its distinctive charm, characterized by original stained glass and woodwork, the theater provides a unique ambiance for showcasing and presenting events.
Théâtre Paradoxe is under the ownership of Groupe Paradoxe, a community and social economy organization dedicated to fostering the social and professional integration of 30 young adults annually within the entertainment and events industry. Moreover, it proudly holds the distinction of being the first eco-responsible stage in Greater Montreal to receive Gold certification.
Today, we take immense pride in this exceptional venue, which places significant emphasis on environmental and social concerns. From implementing a comprehensive waste management policy to actively combating waste, embracing technological advancements, and engaging in social initiatives, every effort is made to uphold our commitment to preserving the environment and contributing positively to society.
